HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday visited the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) in London, as part of his current visit to the UK.
During his visit, HE the Prime Minister met the head of JTAC Susan Parker where he was briefed on the centre’s activities. He discussed aspects of co-operation between JTAC and the competent departments of Qatar’s Ministry of Interior.
The Prime Minister also met the director general of the Security Service Andrew Parker. They reviewed the bilateral relations between Qatar and the UK and ways to develop them, especially in the security and information exchange fields.
Also yesterday, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani met UK’s Home Secretary Amber Rudd at the Home Office in London.
Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between Qatar and the UK, especially in the field of security and means of promoting them.
The Prime Minister praised the level of co-operation and co-ordination between the ministries of interior of both countries, expressing hope that the continuous meetings between the two sides would lead to higher levels of co-operation and contribute to maintaining security in Qatar and the United Kingdom.
The UK Home Secretary praised the level of co-ordination between the two ministries of interior on various security issues, especially combating terrorism and money laundering.
Later, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and the British home secretary witnessed the signing of two security co-operation agreements for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.  
HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also met UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson at his residence in London yesterday.
Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between Qatar and the UK and means of promoting them in all fields.
A number of regional and international issues of common concern were also reviewed.
Later yesterday, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior left London, concluding his visit to the United Kingdom, during which he led the Qatari delegation to the Qatar-UK Business and Investment Forum.
