Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) has organised its fifth annual clay shooting competition at the Lusail Shooting Club, welcoming local and international corporate banks and companies to the occasion.
Launched in 2012, the event was met with “great success” and became an annual tradition.
At this year’s event, al khaliji welcomed Woqood, Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC), Qatar Airways, Gulf Drilling International (GDI), Carnegie Mellon University (CMU-Q), Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), along with multiple local and regional banks, including al khaliji as a host team.
Al khaliji Group chief executive Fahad al-Khalifa said: “Our fifth clay shooting event aims to interact with our clients in a light-hearted and informal environment, in addition to developing stronger ties with them.
“We believe these strong relationships contribute to our overall success as an institution.” 
A total of 10 teams made up of five members each participated in the competition at the Lusail Shooting Club.
CCC won first place, followed by Woqood, and QVC claiming the third place.
