With up to 15mm of rain recorded in some parts of Qatar on Friday, thundery rain is expected on Saturday also in addition to strong winds at places inshore, the Met office said.
Qatar Meteorology Department had forecast earlier that the country will experience yet another spell of unstable weather and rain from Thursday evening until Monday.
The offshore forecast for Saturday is strong wind with high sea and thundery rain, similar to Friday when the Met Office advised people to avoid going to the sea, in view of the weather fluctuations.
The maximum temperature of 26C is expected in Doha and at Abu Samra, followed by 24C at Dukhan, Mesaieed, Wakrah, and Al Khor, and 23C at Ruwais.
The minimum temperature of 19C is expected at Al Khor, followed by 20C at Ruwais, Dukhan and Abu Samra, 21C at Mesaieed and Wakrah and 22C in Doha.
In inshore areas, the southeasterly-northeasterly wind could range from 12-22 knots, reaching 35 knots at times.
At offshore, northeasterly-southeasterly wind could range from 17-25 knots, reaching 38 knots at places with thundery rain.
Sea level may reach 5ft at times at places inshore, while offshore it could reach 13ft with thundery rain.
At many places on Friday, brief spells of rain were accompanied by bright sunlight, in stark contrast to a usual rainy day, when the sky remains overcast or filled with dark clouds.
