Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Qatari Armed Forces announced that the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) will stage rappelling exercises at Lekhwiya Zekreet camp on March 28 from 7am to 11am.
Lekhwiya will also carry out shooting exercises in the Zekreet camp on March 29 from 18:00 to 21:00.
It will also stage rappelling and shooting exercises at Zekreet camp on April 4 from 6am to 10am Doha local time.
The directorate cautioned visitors to the area.

Qatar-Greece ties reviewed
Greek Defence Minister Panos Kammenos met Qatar’s ambassador to the Greece Abdulaziz Ali al-Naama.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them, in addition to matters of common concern.

Envoy presents credentials
The Foreign Minister of Thailand Don Pramudwinai received a copy of the credentials of Qatar’s ambassador to Thailand Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman al-Thani.
The Thai Foreign Minister wished the ambassador success in his mission and the relations between the two countries further development.

Ministry announces recall of Volvo XC60
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco), has announced the recall of Volvo XC60 model of 2017 over potential malfunction in the front left and right hand side seat airbag. The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs. The MEC will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

Doha hosts Arab Robotics Championship
The 10th Arab Open Robotics Championship kicked off here yesterday with the participation of 12 teams contesting from various Arab countries in the presence of HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi.
Faouzia al-Khater, the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education said that the Robotics field contributes significantly to developing the students’ talents and their creative skills.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education supports robotics in all Qatari schools, noting that robotics is not only an entertainment means but it also represents an innovative tool, which enhances advanced thought.
