Kuwait wants to extend a global deal to cut oil supply beyond June to rebalance the market and bring crude prices to an acceptable level, its oil minister said on Monday.

"Kuwait is with the extension of the deal after June. It supports this direction as it will speed up the rebalancing process of the market and will contribute to bringing prices to acceptable levels for oil-producing nations and the industry in general,” Essam al-Marzouq was quoted as saying by state news agency KUNA.
Marzouq said that preliminary data was "very positive" and showed that compliance with the deal in February had increased to 95 from 91 percent.
