Msheireb Properties, a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation and master developer of the Msheireb Downtown Doha project, recently hosted another successful CEO Forum.
The CEO Forum is a collaborative event between Msheireb Properties chief executive officer Abdulla Hassan al-Mehshadi and the CEOs of Msheireb Downtown Doha’s principal contractors and consultants.
Initiated in 2014, the annual meeting encourages leaders to exchange insights, share best practice and identify areas where closer alliances could be formed.
Commenting on the CEO Forum, al-Mehshadi said: “Hosting this platform for co-operation and collaboration is another example of the innovation we seek to achieve the best possible outcome for ourselves and our partners.
“Our annual CEO Forum has become a blueprint for sharing knowledge. It enables us to conduct productive debates to overcome critical issues and work together towards a common goal.
“We have learnt from the specialist knowledge that each of us has obtained. I hope this inspires others to take this initiative forward into future projects, and is something that the industry itself takes onboard.”
Attended by leading contractors and consultants that are contributing to the Msheireb Downtown Doha project, the CEO Forum is “one of the first of its kind in the industry”, according to a press statement. It enables contractors involved in the development of a major project to engage in a productive discussion about a number of prominent issues, keep communication open, tap into the knowledge of every person and help push progress forward.
