Mcdonald’s defeated QVC by 12 runs to clinch the second division title of the 28th CDC cricket tournament.
In the title clash, QVC won the toss and decided to field first. But Mcdonald’s put on a massive 211 in the allotted 20 overs. They got off to a great start as Mcdonald’s scored 55 while losing three wickets in the first six overs.  Ranga played lusty shots and contributed 36 runs off just 15 deliveries, which included four sixes and two fours. Bari added 33, powered by four sixes, while Sudarshana and Yasir contributed 25 and 24 runs respectively.
For the QVC, Kazi and Sanjay took three wickets each, while Bangira bagged two. Mushir and Zaheer were also among wickets, claiming one each.
In reply, QVC started their chase very confidently and were 61 for 3 in six overs. Star batsman was Bangira, who hit 44 with five sixes and a boundary. Sanjay made 27, which consisted of a six and a boundary, while Mushir scored with 25 runs with three sixes.
However QVC kept losing wickets and were all out for 199 in 18.5 Overs, which gave Mcdonald’s won a 12-run victory.
Akalanka of Mcdonald’s took four wickets, while Riyaz and Sudarshana claimed two wickets each.  Yasir, Bari and Ranga took a wicket each.
