Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality's health control section has recently conducted an inspection campaign on the shopping complexes, eateries and supermarkets within its jurisdiction in co-ordination with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce's (MEC) Consumer Protection Department.

The campaign covered a number of meat shops and supermarkets to check the validity of the different meat products on display. Besides, the price tags were reviewed to check their compliance with the set standards.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment's Islands and Beaches Department has cleaned the Sealine Beach. Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality also conducted a number of sport activities to mark the National Sport Day at Al Jaltah Park.
