Doha Centre for Media Freedom (DCMF) will participate in this year’s National Sport Day activities by covering various events taking place to mark the occasion.
The centre will support a number of young journalists today shooting a short film to highlight the importance of sport in society.
Under DCMF’s supervision, a team of junior reporters will both participate in sport activities and also cover festivities and interview various representatives of institutions and organisations taking part.
This year, the Sport Day celebrations will bring together citizens as well as expatriates of different ages, and will be covered by a number of media organisations who will share the thoughts and experiences of those involved.
