Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) will host an interactive information session tomorrow at 5pm, at the HBKU Student Centre in Education City for its Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering programme.
The event offers those interested in becoming students, as well as their family members, the opportunity to directly engage with faculty and staff to better understand academic requirements, admission process, and curriculum before completing their application.
The Computer Engineering programme, part of the College of Science and Engineering, leverages partnerships with other Education City institutions. Students on the programme will be able to enrol for select courses at Texas A&M University at Qatar and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. These courses complement the classes and seminars administered by industry experts and HBKU faculty.
Computer engineering graduates are ranked among the top five most sought after candidates by hiring managers from Fortune 500 companies. Recent recruitment statistics show that professional roles in the field have grown exponentially with the proliferation of increasingly complex and interconnected technology and services.
Prospective students interested in attending the information session should arrive at the HBKU Student Center by 4.30pm and can register online at hbku.edu.qa/infosessions
