Another cold day is expected across the country on Sunday but it will not be as windy as it has been over the past few days, according to the weather report.

Offshore areas, though, are again likely to experience strong winds and high seas in the early hours of the day, the Qatar Met department has said, reiterating in a tweet that sea warnings will continue until early on Sunday.
A minimum temperature of 7C is expected in Abu Samra and Al Khor today, 8C in Wakrah and Mesaieed, 11C in Doha and Dukhan, and 12C in Ruwais. The maximum, on the other hand, will range from 15C (Dukhan) to 20C (Doha) in the country.
On Saturday , a minimum temperature of 6C was recorded in Turayna in southern Qatar until 5.30pm, followed by 7C in Abu Samra, Batna, Karana and Al Khor, and 8C in Wakrah. In the capital and its neighbourhood, the mercury level dropped to 9C in the Qatar University area, 10C in the Hamad International Airport area and 11C in the Doha airport area. The maximum ranged from 13C in Umm Bab to 19C in the Doha airport area.
The detailed forecast for inshore areas says mild conditions are expected during the day along with some clouds. It will be cold by night.
In offshore areas, northwesterly winds will blow at 10-20 knots, going up to 22 knots in the early hours, before decreasing by midday, the weather office has said. Slight dust is also likely in these areas at times, while the sea level may rise to 7ft at first.
