Qatar-based Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) Humanitarian Funds will hold an international forum at the Sheraton Doha Hotel on Sunday.
During the forum, four new “humanitarian funds” will be launched. These will be dedicated to the affairs of Al Quds and Palestine, mosques, orphans and water in OIC member-states.
The forum, to be held annually, will be attended by senior Arab and Islamic figures as well as representatives of international charitable and humanitarian organisations.
Regarding the forum’s key events, HE the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the OIC Humanitarian Funds Sheikh Dr Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said that the forum includes a seminar on humanitarian and development funds and their rightful role in achieving societal stability.
