British astronaut Tim Peake yesterday revealed he is set to return to space for a second mission. Major Peake told the Standard the experience was so addictive that he wanted to go back after returning to Earth last June following his 186-day European Space Agency mission. His announcement came as he unveiled a new Science Museum exhibit — the charred Soyuz TMA-19M capsule that brought him back to Earth. Major Peake became the first British astronaut to walk in space during his time on the International Space Station. His second ESA mission is due to take place before 2024 but the ESA gave no specific timeframe.
