Birla Public School marked the 68th Republic Day of India at its main school campus yesterday. The ceremony was attended by former chairman CV Rappai, sub-committee members Chindhu Rappai and Nevile Lukose Chacko, Principal AK Shrivastava, senior vice-principal Shirly Rappai, head of operations Lt Col (Retd) DP Pillay, parents, students, teaching and non-teaching staff. The Indian flag was unfurled by Rappai, who was the chief guest. The school choir sang the national anthems of India and Qatar.
