Sharaf DG, which opened its second store in the country in the Mall of Qatar, said on Monday it has invited over 1,200 customers to avail of the inaugural offers.
“We have had more than half of customers already at the store to avail these offers with the rest coming during the weekend,” the major electronics retailer explained in a statement.
On account of a heavy rush of shoppers, Sharaf DG was “unable to serve customers on the opening day due to safety concerns and under advice of relevant authorities.”
The Mall of Qatar store has an area of 14,000sft with display of products including televisions, home entertainment, telecom, IT, photography, kitchen appliances, air conditioners, personal care and gaming.
The one of its kind welcome Power Wall invites customers to the open layout store. Digital Screens mounted on retail area tables to engage with customers and help them choose the right product.
Automated vending machines are used for dispensing Tablets, Mobiles and Cameras. All Sharaf DG staff carry a tablet loaded with the Sharaf DG Sales Tool, an assisted selling application which helps them engage with customers, search for products, provide features, cast product details to retail area screens placed in each category.
Sharaf DG started its operations in Qatar in 2013, as ‘the largest electronics destination’ with the first store in Ezdan Mall.
