Different parts of the country received scattered, light rain Saturday, with the weather office tweeting that the chances of rain will remain until early Monday.
Recently, the Met department said in its forecast that there was a possibility of light rain in Qatar until Monday, followed by a spell of strong winds (until Wednesday) that would bring down the temperature across the country. It had also issued a warning for strong winds and high seas in offshore areas.
Sunday’s detailed forecast says hazy to misty/foggy conditions are likely in some inshore areas at first. It will then be cloudy at times and there is a chance of scattered rain in some places. Visibility may drop to 2km or less in the early hours of the day
Hazy and cloudy conditions are also expected in offshore areas at times along with scattered rain.
There is also a chance of scattered rain in offshore areas towards the north along with hazy and cloudy conditions at times, according to the weather report.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature is likely to be 13C in Al Khor and 18C in Doha on Sunday. On Monday, the mercury level dropped to 12C in Al Khor and 13C in Mesaieed, while in Doha (airport area) it was 17C.
