A section of Umm Enaig Street in Al Khor (Street No. 213) will remain closed for 55 days from January 14. The closure will be on both directions at its junction with Street No. 967. During the closure, drivers on Umm Enaig Street travelling to Al Jebail can use the alternative local roads branching from Umm Enaig Street.
Similarly, drivers travelling towards Al Thakhira area can make a U-turn on Umm Enaig to reach Al Thakhira road (as shown on the map).
The traffic diversion is required to enable works of laying sewer rising mains as part of design, build, operate and maintain of Al Thakhira Sewage Treatment Works, Transfer Pumping Station and associated pipelines.
