Prime Minister of the Syrian Interim Government Dr Jawad Abu Hatab hailed the leadership, the government and the people of Qatar for its important role in support of the Syrian people.
Speaking to Qatari newspapers Al-Watan and Al-Sharq, Abu Hatab highlighted Qatar’s contributions to help the Syrian people, especially referring to a plan to develop the education sector in Syria in co-operation with the Qatari government, which is the first to admit the renewal of Syrians passports.
Abu Hatab noted that he was among the delegation who met HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani.
The delegation was headed by the president of the supreme negotiating body of the Syrian Opposition Riad Hijab, and President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Anas al-Abdah.
