Ooredoo has extended the deadline for the fifth Ooredoo Marathon to be held on January 13.
Registration will now close tomorrow at 11.59pm online (marathon.ooredoo.qa) and at 9pm at the Ooredoo Marathon booths.
The booths at City Center Doha and Villaggio Mall will be open from 9am. As many as 1,200 runners have registered so far to take part in the annual event, which this year will raise money for the charity Reach Out to Asia.
This year the Ooredoo Marathon will feature a 10km run, half-marathon, full marathon and special children’s 3km and 1km fun run.
The route, which will start at the Museum of Islamic Art Park, will follow the Doha Corniche and prizes will be awarded to the best runners in a range of categories, based on age and gender.
