Three new automobile technical inspection stations of Fahes are to be opened by the end of February or early March, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported yesterday.
Fahes general director Eid Mohamed al-Kubaisi said these stations will come up in Al Wukair, Al Khor and Al Shehaniyah and all of them will have number plate workshops too.
Two of these stations will comprise four lines to inspect light vehicles while Al Khor station will have three lines for light vehicles and another line for trucks.
The total cost of these stations is about QR90-100mn. There is also a plan to include number plate workshops at all Fahes stations in co-operation with the Traffic Department and the three upcoming three new stations would be the first phase of this plan.
