A Doha Criminal Court has sentenced a man to death by firing squad for fatally stabbing his roommate with a knife, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported.

The incident happened when the victim insulted and mocked the defendant, thus making him lose his cool. On the day of the crime, the defendant was alone with the victim in their company accommodation. After locking the door from inside, the defendant stabbed the victim several times on his chest with a sharp knife, killing him instantly.
