One important key to success, according to former number one American tennis player Arthur Ashe, is self-confidence. And the key to self-confidence is preparation. Inviting both men and women, How Women Work (HWW) – one of Qatar’s leading women’s network – is all set to provide the very preparation in its upcoming seminar.
To be held at City Centre Rotana on January 11, the seminar titled “Lead a successful and confident lifestyle” will be conducted by HWW head Evridiki Iliaki, who is a Certified Business and Life Coach.
Evridiki will share with you her personal journey in how she settled on a fitness regime that contributed to her weight loss of 30 kilos and cured her of a serious medical condition. She will tell the participants on how they can live healthier, super confident, radiant and successful lives by finding fitness regimes that are right for them.
“The seminar will help people understand the importance of a confident posture and how it can affect your professional and personal life. It would make you realise how choosing the right type of exercise for you, can help you listen to your body needs and improve your posture,” says Evridiki.
She will also show the participants how working with your body can change your mindset and result in a powerful, confident lifestyle.
The participants will also learn unique, stretching and breathing exercises and a powerful visualization exercise designed to help them improve their postures.
“The participants will also learn about body language and power poses of powerful, professional people and will have the chance to ask any personalised questions,” adds the coach.
They would also receive an exclusive, complimentary discovery session with Evridiki and learn more about her success and wellness private programme that has helped hundreds of people. They will also have the chance to learn more about HWW and be part of the HWW family.
Evridiki has been named as the best Success Lifestyle Coach, specialised for professional ladies.
With over 15 years of research and experience she is dedicating her life to developing and refining new methods to help individuals create a happier, more successful, holistic lifestyle. She has helped hundreds to find their personal and career purpose in life, she says.
How Women Work was primarily a group formed in 2009 to support women find work, grow and succeed in Qatar. Through its networking conferences, seminars and training workshops, HWW has helped more than 7,300 women find success.
Coming from Greece, and having studied and researched counselling psychology for more than six years in United Kingdom (UK), Iliaki is a certified life and business coach with over 15 years of experience. She started the ‘Hippocrates Success and Wellness Programme’ in Qatar, a series of four seminars that started in October.
The seminars provide people with techniques and tools, including visualisation and breathing techniques, that they can utilise to find a balance between successful personal and professional life. The funds generated from the registration fee from these seminars go towards funding the women’s support group.
This year is about success and wellness, says Iliaki. “If women do not feel healthy in both body and mind, success will not come basically,” says the HWW leader, explaining the importance of the issue.
HWW is also collaborating with others to make the platform more useful for professional women. It has announced collaboration with Hamad Bin Khali University College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Dr Amal al-Malki.
“So this year we are having our 8th annual conference with them on the 8th of March. HWW has formed several noteworthy collaborations, such as those with Pakistan Business Forum in Qatar and the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC),” says the HWW head.
The new president of ICC, Milan Arun has also been invited to be one of the speakers at the annual conference.
“This year we would like to bring all forces together as symbolising that real, strong women should stand together and support each other. HWW wants to be the ambassador of bringing all major communities of Qatar together,” says Iliaki.
“With the support of leading women figures of our community we want to spread the message that women should stand together; not compete, not tear each other apart. Let us all be part of our mutual success and wellness and create miracles and actions that will create a better world for the youth and a better future for all,” says the HWW head.
