Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Qatar, has concluded a one-year automotive fundamentals training on various modules exclusively designed to meet the requirements and interests of the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC)’s members.
The workshops were held on the AAB workshop premises or at QSC, depending on the modules’ requirements.
The training programme for QSC was conducted by the AAB technical training team.
The collaboration and partnership between AAB and QSC falls under AAB’s corporate social responsibility initiative of developing and empowering Qatari youth through education and skills enhancement programmes, according to a press statement.
To mark the successful completion of the modules, certificates of completion were handed to those who showed consistent attendance during the entire year’s module with the objective of applying learned skills to ensure automotive safety in the vehicle as well as to driving, the statement noted.
AAB chief executive Serdar Toktamis handed over the certificates with QSC manager Hareb Mohamed al-Jabri.
AAB has said various undertakings are in the pipeline for the coming year following the success of the 2016 training programme.
