The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has appointed three Qatari leaders across its healthcare system.  
The new appointees are Dr Eiman Awad al-Saadi, manager of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Health Centre, Dr Aisha Khalifa al-Naemi, manager of Leghwairiya & Al-Kaaban Health Centre and Dr Fahima Ahmed Nabina, manager of Abu Nakhla Health Centre. The new mangers will start with PHCC from today.
These appointments are in line with the aspirations and vision of Qatar to successfully support the growth of the number of Qataris in leadership positions inspiring the development of a highly skilled, specialist local workforce, a statement issued by the corporation said.


Cleanliness drive

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Public Relations and Communications Department, has put up signboards at the entry points of desert areas in the Al Shamal region as a means of spreading awareness among the public to keep the place clean and help preserve the
environment. The initiative is part of the programmes undertaken by the MME to raise people’s awareness on various environment-related issues,
according to a statement from the ministry.
