The International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) welcomed a high-level delegation of Turkish officials this week to its international headquarters in Doha. As part of the ICSS’ ongoing
outreach to international partners and in line with its objectives to share its knowledge and
expertise to help safeguard sport, the Turkish delegation met ICSS President Mohamed Hanzab, who detailed the work and achievements of the ICSS in the field of sport safety, security and integrity since the organisation was established in 2010. The visiting delegation from Turkey was led by Bilal Erdogan, President of World Ethnosport Confederation, and also included HE Ahmet Demirok, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the State of Qatar, Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, and Fikret Orman, President of Besiktas. Both delegations discussed areas of mutual cooperation—including various global initiatives, as well as exchanging appreciation and pledging to continue to cooperate in future projects.
