Medina Centrale - an entertainment destination for families from within the country and the region - celebrated the weekend with surprises and programmes designated for residents of The Pearl-Qatar and visitors with their children looking for fun in a safe place on the Island.
During the weekend, the plaza and facades of restaurants and cafes in Medina Centrale became the centre for family fun. Events included kids’ plays along with stage performances that attracted large crowds, UDC said in a press statement.
Children received a special welcome from their loved cartoon characters who had been touring continuously to meet kids. Children also took the opportunity to have a photography session with the cartoon characters before accompanying them to the main activities.
Another attraction during the weekend was the inclusion of recreational activities targeting all segments of society.
“Families and children have been enjoying the variety of activities and programmes at Medina Centrale before the end of this year,” the statement noted.
Activities range from funny shows, training workshops, cartoon character parade, and innovative and exciting games, in addition to recreational activities aimed at the development of the mental and intellectual abilities of children.
A number of activities and attractions were lined up at Medina Centrale last weekend.
United Development Company (UDC) has continued organising a series of family entertainment activities at Medina Centrale, The Pearl-Qatar. UDC is the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar.
