The Metrash2 application now has more than 300,000 subscribers, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has said.

Informing this on Twitter, the MoI said those who are yet to use the app can do so by downloading it and then enjoy the various services offered by the ministry at their convenience.
Metrash2, an interactive service-oriented mobile app by the MoI, is available on the App Store, Play Store and Windows Store.
The services provided on Metrash2 include those pertaining to visas, residency, traffic, community police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), in addition to different enquiry services. The app offers more than 160 services and works as an interactive platform to contact various department and report crimes.
The MoI had recently announced that smartphone users could now report crimes through the newly-introduced CID Service option on Metrash2. These include cybercrimes, counterfeiting and forgery, infringement of intellectual property rights, begging and other offences. In all, the CID Service comprises four sections: ‘reporting’, ‘provide information’, ‘request’ and ‘communicate with us’.
