Northwesterly winds will blow at 10-18 knots in inshore areas, going up to 22 knots in some places during the day. In offshore areas, the wind speed (northwesterly) will be 18-25 knots, reaching a high of 28 knots towards the north at times.
The detailed forecast also states that hazy conditions are likely in some inshore areas in the early hours of the day, followed by moderate temperatures during the day with slight dust and some clouds. It will also be cold by night.
Slightly dusty conditions and some clouds are also expected in offshore areas, with the sea level rising to 10ft in the north at times.
On Sunday, a minimum temperature of 14C is expected in Mesaieed, Wakrah, Abu Samra and Al Khor, followed by 16C in Dukhan, 17C in Doha and 19C in Ruwais.
On Saturday, the mercury level dropped to 11.7C in Turayna early in the morning, while in Doha it was 15.9C, the Met department informed in a tweet.
