HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met the United Nations (UN) new Secretary-General Antonio Guterres yesterday. They discussed the latest developments in Syria, particularly the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Aleppo.
The Foreign Minister stressed the importance of the international community to shoulder its
responsibility towards protection of the civilians, securing safe paths, and guaranteeing the
delivery of humanitarian assistance to Aleppo and other besieged Syrian cities.
