Winners of tickets for Qatar Cricket Fiesta 2016, organised by Pro Event, were announced
yesterday at the draw conducted at the office of media sponsors, Gulf Times. Popular
cricketers from Pakistan including T20 international record holder Shahid Afridi, and those from India, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan have confirmed their participation in the match between World XI vs Qatar XI. The exhibition match will be held tomorrow at the 13,000-capacity Asian Town Cricket Stadium in the Industrial Area. Mohamed Ashraf have won a ticket each. The lucky coupons were picked by Saqlain Haider Rizvi, managing director, Stepco Group (event partner) in the presence of Habib Ullah Sheikh, senior business development manager, representing Gulf Times.
