HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani directed that the celebrations of the National Day, which falls on December 18, 2016, be cancelled in solidarity with the people of Aleppo, Syria who are being subjected to the worst kinds of repression, torture, displacement and genocide.
