Alfardan Jewellery has received the ISO 9001-2015 accreditation, instituted by Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).
JAS-ANZ is an independent, third-party accreditation body which was established in 1991, with its secretariats functioning in
Canberra and Wellington.
Alfardan Jewellery president and vice chairman Ali Hussain Alfardan said the latest achievement would prompt their company to go on further on its march to cornering
greater honours.
“We at Alfardan Jewellery would also accelerate our efforts to meet the growing expectations of our customers,” Alfardan said, adding that the firm would continue to comply with the expectations of the region’s customers.
At a brief ceremony yesterday, Alfardan also received a citation in recognition of the honour from Infomatics Consultancy founder and CEO Fadi A Kheder. The consultancy represents the JAS-ANZ
activities in the region.
Khader said the recognition is in honour of the quality of the services rendered by the management and operations teams of Alfardan Jewellery.
JAS-ANZ has been constituted after an agreement between Australia and New Zealand governments which provided the establishment of a governing board, technical advisory council and accreditationreview board.
JAS-ANZ operations are overseen by the governing board. The technical advisory council and accreditation review board allow it to bring technical expertise and stakeholder involvement to the development of accreditation programmes and accreditation decisions.
