Ooredoo has announced the launch of the first 4K TV channel in the region on Ooredoo tv, with FunBox UHD.
The FunBox UHD channel is now available for all subscribers of Ooredoo tv, including ‘Essentials’ subscribers, as the company continues to offer leading international and local content for its customers, according to a statement.
FunBox UHD offers “crystal-clear” content 24/7 on Ooredoo tv channel number 444. It features prime time programming such as ‘La Boheme’, a cinematic opera captured in UHD, and ‘The Sea Chef’, a documentary series hosted by ?ngel Le?n, the two-Michelin starred chef who searches for authentic sea flavours across the coast of Spain.
FunBox UHD also airs UHD documentaries on nature, wildlife, society, music videos, sports, arts and culture and more,” the statement noted. “Audiences watching FunBox UHD on Ooredoo tv can now enjoy breathtaking visual content, more detail, contrast dynamics and extended colours than ever before.”
Besides the latest content and 4K technology, Ooredoo tv offers features such as time shift, Android apps, parental control, thousands of hours of on-demand content and more.
Ooredoo tv is available now via Ooredoo shops, Starlink, TechnoBlue and Jumbo outlets. The service has no upfront charges, no equipment costs and no ongoing contracts.
