Barwa Bank is celebrating the Qatar National Day (QND) with an interactive online competition that will have 30 lucky citizens and residents taking home QR1,000 each, in addition to a second draw where three sets of iPhone 7 are on offer.
The competition revolves around an interactive quiz titled ,‘Pearls from the past’, featuring a number of questions about the country’s culture and heritage, as well as Barwa Bank. 
Citizens and residents can participate in the competition by correctly answering nine questions when they take the quiz, which is currently available on the bank’s social media platforms. Each participant will only have two extra chances to answer the nine questions, if they fail in their first attempt.
Once entrants successfully pass the quiz, they automatically enter the first draw and can be one of the 30 lucky winners to walk away with QR1,000 each. Moreover, successful entries will be presented with an old photo of Qatar, which participants need to download and share on social media, additionally tagging a friend or Barwa Bank, in order to enter the second draw for a chance to win one of three iPhones.
No entry fee or any purchases are necessary to enter the competition, and only one entry will be accepted per person. Quiz entries are accepted until December 18, and the competition’s winners will be announced after the Qatar National Day.
‘Pearls from the past’ is a creative demonstration of Barwa Bank’s deep-rooted commitment to Qatari values, traditions and heritage and a celebration of the country’s independence with its citizens and residents, who will have a chance to win valuable prizes for commemorating the special occasion with Barwa Bank.
