The incident occurred after the victim parked his vehicle outside a shopping mall, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported.
When the man came back, he found one of the windows broken and a bag containing more than QR36,000 was missing. He reported the matter to the police.
A subsequent investigation led the police to the culprit through his fingerprints.
