Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, has participated at the annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference for organisations in Qatar. 
The CSR Conference, held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Abdulla bin Saoud al -Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports and Social Activities Support Fund (Daam), is organised by Dar Al Sharq and was accompanied by an awards ceremony and launch of the fourth edition of the White Book. 
“Commercial Bank is inspired by, part of, and wholly committed to Qatar, and regards CSR as integral to its business in support of Qatar’s development in line with the National Vision 2030. Commercial Bank strives to be an outstanding corporate citizen by supporting local and international socio-economic initiatives that benefit Qatari society as a whole, including humanitarian projects and charitable work for the disadvantaged; educational, training and personal development programmes for Qatari youth; sports and health initiatives; support for Qatari arts and culture; and the Bank’s Qatar National Day programmes that celebrate and preserve Qatar’s cultural heritage,” a statement issued by the bank yesterday said.
