Two case studies made by Morrison Menon, a leading chartered accountant firm in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), have been included in the curriculum of Dubai Women’s College (DWC).
Its inclusion in the educational circles is seen as a testament to the expedience of the firm’s business approach to the environment in the GCC as a whole.
Buoyed by this, Morrison Menon is exploring options to undertake similar studies in Qatar as well, according to its Qatar managing partner Kurian Kuriakose.
The studies were prepared by Dr Nikola Perovic and Dr Kavita Shah, addressing various subjects relevant to the firm’s core business in the UAE.
The first study titled “The first Super Brand in the knowledge economy in the UAE. Morison Menon in a mission of Building Better Businesses Globally” catalogues the companies’ unique path to “super brand” recognition.
The second case study “The Super Home Brand Morison Menon: Running economic and social engine together in the UAE” addresses the companies’ ever burgeoning array of local corporate social responsibility policies and its impact on its immediate environment.
“The business environment in the GCC, which has fully embraced the spirit of globalisation demands talented business leadership. To be considered as an approach worth emulating is both humbling and a source of great delight,” Kuriakose said.
“We were looking for a global brand organically grown in the UAE fully integrated with the local community and culture and playing a prominent role in sustainability and social impact. We are keen in our institution to create knowledge that reflects the business industry in the UAE and the region,” according to Dr Tarifa al-Zaabi, DWC director.
Morison Menon has been a successful partner of the Dubai government as well as governments of other emirates for many years.
