Qatar District Cooling Company (Qatar Cool) has been named ‘CSR Initiative of the Year’ during the Enterprise Agility Award 2016 organised recently by BNC Publishing at the Grand Hyatt in Doha.
“Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) is of the utmost importance to us as it forms part of our DNA as an organisation and as individuals. We are delighted to receive the award and to be recognised for our efforts,” said Qatar Cool Human Resources and Administration director Aysha al-Shriem.
The Enterprise Agility Awards honours enterprise leaders and individuals who have distinguished themselves and shown sector significance and outstanding business conduct across a variety of industries that are key drivers of Middle East’s economies.
“We continue to develop our CSR activities in order to reach as many organisations, communities, and individuals in Qatar. As a Qatari company, we see this as our responsibility to the nation as opposed to a compulsion or requirement set upon us.
“We have a great and dedicated workforce that continuously demonstrates passion on behalf of the organisation in CSR. We are looking forward to the year to come and expanding our reach and support,” said Qatar Cool CEO Yasser al-Jaidah.
