University of Calgary in Qatar (UCQ) is hosting an Open House event on Saturday.
The event at UCQ’s Al Rayyan campus, comes as the institution is accepting online applications for its Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing programmes.
“University of Calgary in Qatar’s academic programmes empower current and future nursing leaders to advance patient care in their community,” said
Dr Deborah White, dean and CEO of UCQ. “Since its establishment in 2006, UCQ has supported Qatar’s endeavours to deliver the highest quality healthcare for its people. I encourage all who are passionate about contributing to the country’s health goals to join us this Saturday to explore the nursing profession.”
Attendees of the UCQ Open House will have the opportunity to engage with nursing faculty, as well as speak to current students and alumni.
Prospective students and their families will expand their knowledge of UCQ’s programmes, as well as the range of career opportunities available to nurses in Qatar.
Members of the community will also learn about UCQ’s advanced facilities, such as the state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Centre and Learning Commons.
