Jewellery retail chain Joyalukkas has opened its first showroom in the US. On November 19, the showroom at Hillcroft, Houston, was inaugurated by Joe R Zimmerman, the mayor of Sugar Land.
John Paul Alukkas, executive director of Joyalukkas Group, Anniyan George, a number of local dignitaries and VIPs were present. 
The opening of the new Joyalukkas showroom in Hillcroft is “a sparkling example of a well-planned and successful expansion drive that has now become the hallmark of the Joyalukkas Group”, the company has said in a statement.
The expansion drive also includes the opening of two more showrooms in Edison, New Jersey, and West Devon Avenue, Chicago.
The Hillcroft showroom features over 1mn collections and designs in gold, diamond, precious stones, platinum and pearl. The collection is a mix of traditional, ethno contemporary and international designs. 
“I am overwhelmed by the great reception and following ‘Brand Joyalukkas’ has had in Houston,” said Joy Alukkas, chairman and managing director of Joyalukkas Group.
“We look forward to delivering more choices, better value and an even higher standard of customer service at our showroom,” added John Paul Alukkas. Joyalukkas is currently a 120-plus showroom chain network spread across 11 countries around the world, 
including Qatar.
