HE the Prime Minister and Minister of interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, in the presence of King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifah of Bahrain, attended  the Arabian Gulf Security 1 exercise which was held in Bahrain yesterday afternoon.
The exercise was also attended by  a number of princes, ministers and senior officials and military officers from other GCC countries.
The exercise included a parade by the GCC Joint Armed Forces, anti-terrorism teams, overland intrusion equipment and air support snipers.
It also included parades and presentations by rapid intervention force, anti-explosives teams, combat units, special forces as well as land and marine armoured military and infantry and military vehicles.
Later HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani met his Bahraini counterpart Prince Khalifah bin Salman al-Khalifah.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between Qatar and Bahrain countries and ways of enhancing and strengthening them in all fields.
Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa al-Khalifah attended the meeting.  
Later HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior attended a luncheon banquet held by Bahrain’s Crown Prince, deputy Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifah, held at the Royal Academy of Police in honour of the delegations participating in Arabian Gulf Security 1 exercise.
A number of ranking officials attended the banquet.
Earlier on arrival in Bahrain, the Premier and his accompanying delegation were welcomed at Isa Air Base by Bahrain’s Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman al-Khalifah, Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa al-Khalifah, the GCC Secretary-General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, Qatar’s ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani and the Qatari embassy staff.
