The first edition of an annual national seminar on ‘Cost-Effective eLearning Solutions and Mobile Learning Content’, was organised recently by malomatia, a leading national IT services and solutions provider in Qatar.
The event focused on the latest developments in various key eLearning subdomains, such as cost-effective eLearning bundles on Arabic software skills, information security, cyber security, new HR trends, project management, management and leadership that organisations could quickly apply and are currently mobile-ready, according to a press statement.
The event enjoyed the presence of a number of HR/training managers who got in-depth information on the trends in mobile learning and its potential impact across training departments.
Speakers in the session on cost-effective eLearning solutions highlighted how training departments could look at innovative continuous learning solutions to address key skills retention at a time when people “are asked to achieve more with less”.
Skillsoft, a global leader in eLearning, brought its experience to the event as well as the whole IT community in Qatar.
During the seminar, malomatia awarded the “most performant companies and organisations for their commitment in eLearning projects implementation”. These are the Ministry of Interior, QNB and Qafac.
The awards were given by Khalifa Hamad al-Mannai, director of communication and marketing, malomatia, who said the company “has helped more than 10,000 professionals in Qatar access 35,000 online courses to enhance their skills, contributing to Qatar’s knowledge-based economy”.
