International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) has announced that it is joining forces with Qatar Airways to combine their loyalty programmes for the benefit of customers.
Under this, IBQ customers enrolled in the bank’s rewards programme can now exchange their thanq points for Qmiles, according to a statement. IBQ credit card holders can now get 2,500 Qmiles for every 5,000 thanq points converted.

By collaborating with IBQ, we are able to offer customers additional exclusive benefits and the opportunity to exchange IBQ’s thanq rewards for Qmiles to enjoy when they travel with Qatar Airways.”
Privilege Club members who are IBQ customers and have registered to thanq can now visit the rewards dedicated website to exchange their thanq points for Qmiles.
thanq allows customers to accumulate points on purchases, as well as banking products and services, and then redeem them at over 800 airlines, 160,000 hotels and car rental services for Nojoom points from Ooredoo and now for Qmiles from Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
