The forecast for inshore areas says hazy to misty/foggy conditions are likely in some places – especially towards the north - at first. This is to be followed by a relatively hot day with slight dust at times.
Hazy conditions are also expected in offshore areas at times.
The maximum temperature recorded in the country yesterday was 38C in the Qatar University and Doha airport areas, Al Rayyan, Al Khor and Turayna, followed by 37C in Sheehaniya, Mesaieed and other places. The minimum, on the other hand, was 19C in Abu Samra and Mesaieed.
On Sunday, the mercury level is expected to rise to 37C in Al Khor and 36C in Doha, with the minimum being 18C in Mesaieed and Wakrah.
