HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud has met with Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha in Bangkok.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various fields.
Al-Mahmoud was in Bangkok to attend the second summit of the Asia Co-operation Dialogue which ended on Monday.
The summit discussed several topics aimed at consolidating co-operation and promoting dialogue among the Asian nations to confront the common challenges.
The summit is a regional platform for exchanging views, ideas and suggestions on various political, economic and security topics of interest to the continent.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation left the Thai capital yesterday. They were seen off by Thai Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Virasakdi Futrakul, Qatar’s ambassador to Thailand Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman bin Mohamed al-Thani, and officials from the Thai foreign ministry and the Qatari embassy.
