RasGas Company recently held a long service awards ceremony to thank 550 employees, as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The employees who have put in five, 10, 15 and 20 years of service were felicitated, a company spokesman said.
“It is our employees who look for innovative ways to accomplish more; who adapt to market conditions to further entrench RasGas as a competitive choice; and who ensure we operate responsibly, so that the company is renowned for our commitment to excellence at every level,” RasGas chief executive Hamad Mubarak al-Muhannadi said.
Among the attendees were 20 employees who have served RasGas for as long as 20 years, a testament to the company’s ability to translate professional needs into a rewarding work experience that offers a high-performance environment and clear path for career development.
The awardees were members of RasGas’ senior management, including Nafez Bseiso (chief development officer) and Erhama al-Kaabi (senior adviser) with 20 years of service; and Khalid al-Hemaidi (chief Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Officer) with 15 years of service.
“We know that the longer our employees stay, the more skills they acquire, and the productive and valuable they are,” al-Muhannadi said.
