Inspectors of the Health Control Section at Doha Municipality on Sunday spotted a supermarket in the Najma area displaying expired food products.
They also found a sweets and chocolate shop in Al Sadd area manipulating the expiry dates of the products on display.
Violation reports were issued to both the outlets and the relevant legal procedures initiated.
Meanwhile, the director of Doha Municipality issued an administrative decision to close a restaurant in the Old Airport Area for 30 days for serving food prepared in unhygienic conditions.
The decision is being implemented by the health control inspector at the municipality.
