President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has received the credentials of Sultan bin Ibrahim al-Mahmoud, as non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cyprus.
The Qatari ambassador conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Cyprus president, wishing him the best of health and the government and people of Cyprus further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Cypriot president entrusted the Qatari ambassador with his greetings to HH the Emir, and his wishes of further development and prosperity to the Qatari people. He wished the Ambassador success in his duties, and further development and growth to friendship and co-operation ties between the two countries.
