The Indian Business and Professional Network (IBPN) in Qatar recently led a high-profile business delegation to the ‘Incredible India Tourism Investor’s Summit’ held in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
The summit focused on issues such as Invest in India, FDI in hotels, parks, resorts, investments in MSME in core infrastructure for tourism, start-ups, digital India etc. The summit also dedicated space for seminars, business to business meetings and roundtables around focus themes.
“The delegation comprised of many entrepreneurs from Qatar including, Qataris, Indians and other expatriate businessmen based in Qatar, who are keen to invest in India in Tourism and hospitality sector,” said Mohamed Ansari, delegation head.
The event, which showcased more than 100 investable projects, and saw signing of some 86 pacts for the development of tourism and hospitality projects, was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries, Incredible India and Ministry of Tourism jointly.
“For IBPN it is a remarkable step to lead an official delegation consisting of a mix of nationalities from Qatar to a high-profile event in India and we are looking forward to taking a larger delegation to the forthcoming investment summit in Gujarat, India in early 2017,” said KM Varghese, IBPN president.
