Astad Project Management has announced its support for Qatar Chamber’s ‘Made in Qatar 2016’ exhibition as Silver Sponsor. The event is slated on November 6 to 9 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition.
Astad CEO Ali al-Khalifa said: “Our operations outside of Qatar have launched. The motivation behind this expansion comes from the accumulated experience we have in Qatar.
“We are a major project management company with a portfolio of projects that reflect our teams’ innovation. We believe the experience, knowledge, and excellence that we have built in Qatar over the years will prove to be beneficial to clients in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.”
The four-day exhibition aims to attract investment in the manufacturing sector while promoting and showcasing locally-manufactured products in Saudi markets. The expo will include a selection of products of leading Qatari companies along with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to introduce Qatari products to the Saudi business community.
It also aims to promote Qatar’s industry sector and encourage the use of Qatari products, while updating the Saudi business community on the latest developments in participating sectors.
The event also helps provide an opportunity for exhibitors and manufacturers to meet, while directly introducing Qatari products to the Saudi community, and encouraging Saudi businessmen and women to invest in industrial projects in Qatar.
Aside from opening up new markets for Qatari companies abroad and promote the country’s SME sector, the exhibition is an opportunity for many local firms and institutions to exchange experiences and secure business deals with their Saudi counterparts, as well as strengthen Qatar-Saudi economic partnership.
